IS IT FEASIBLE TO CREATE A SOLAR PANEL THAT COULD HARNESS MORE OF THE SUNS ENERGY THAN WHAT THEY CAN NOW?
Apr 28th
Question by :
is it feasible to create a solar panel that could harness more of the suns energy than what they can now?
right now, you would need a suitable number of solar panels just to power 1 home & that can take up a lot of real estate. so my question is, is it feasible to create something that absorbs more of the suns energy like a magnet it would suck it up. the point of doing this would be so that we wouldnt need so much space & so many panels just to power 1 home for example.
i hope thats coherent.

Question by mixygirl05:
Can you use the words electron and solar energy in an informative sentace so they connect the words together?
Hey peeps, I need your help i need to connect electron with solar energy i cant seem to find a connection for example if i was connecting radiation and the Chernobyl disaster i would rite-
Radiation is harmful to the body, the amount of exposure to radiation determines the lasting affects of it, they could be death or cause diseases such as cancer and after the Chernobyl Disaster the cancer rate rose drastically along with other complications from the radiation spreading into people.
it doesnt have to be that long just an idea
if u have any ideas let me know
peace out!!!

Why do they still make regular bulbs if energy saving bulbs are so good for the environment?
They brag about how good they are, how good they are for the environment. They have been around 10 years or more, surely if it was made law that is the only kind of bulb you could purchase then it would cut down global warming alot.

TURNING LIGHTS ON AND OFF USES ENERGY, BUT HOW LONG SHOULD THEY BE OFF IN ORDER TO SAVE ENERGY?
Aug 31st
Question by Corey W:
Turning lights on and off uses energy, but how long should they be off in order to save energy?
When I was younger, my mom always yelled at me for turning the lights on and off rapidly, but i suppose i never understood why, and to this day still. If I use a light for 5 mins and turn it off leave for 10 mins and come back to turn it on for 5 more, am i using more energy than keeping it on for 20 mins straight? Thanks!
hopefully information on Incandescent, CFL, and Fluorescent lights could be explained to me! thanks!
