IS THERE AN INEXPENSIVE WIND TURBINE?

Is there an affordable wind turbine. The only one I am seeing is this air-x thing which only produces 400 watts at 28 mph winds. AND ITS 500$!!!! Is there a turbine that is around the 500$ range that produces enough power to power the whole house???? Or is there another alternative????
solar is probably out of the question as it is so expensive.

I want to find out about wind power. I live in a semi rural area on a 1-1/2 acre piece of land. How huge of a generator do I need for a 4BR Home with A/C running 7-8 months a year. Looking for a company who can sell and install the unit and handle permits and other requirements. A Turn-Key deal is what I want if practical and cost effective.

I am energy conscience but we all need some light in the room, but even the “energy saving” lightbulbs makes the room so hot! Is there a bulb that is not so hot?
Also, the 40 watt energy savers always seem to be more costly than the 60 watt bulbs. Why?
Why not LED?
