SURVEY : Do you & the members of your household take the essential & necessary steps towards saving energy?
I just got to thinking about it and was wondering how many people here did the tiny things (that count) in order to save energy. Things such as switching off your geyser during the night when asleep and during the day when at work, school, etc, (when they are relatively not been utilised) and removing cell-phone chargers from plugs when not in use, and the many other things that could and should be done?
If you are among the people who do so, please list the good habits you exercise each day 
Okay ‘weliveonearth’. How about starting to do those things you have been neglecting to do? It would not injured at all would it? And perhaps you could learn to get over your whole “fear of the dark thing”? .. Anythings possible!

How many gallons of OIL does it take to make ONE Wind Turbine?
It takes 8 gallons of oil to produce ONE TIRE. Can you envision all the oil it would take to build one of those enormous Wind Turbines? How many gallons would it take to make a solar panel- when both combined only produce 2% of what we really need. Its BS!
The real reason govt is banning Edison bulbs is they are too cheap and GE cannot make profits so they will force us to purchase those squiggly bulbs filled with MERCURY paying like 7 bucks for one BULB!

If you have an alternator hooked up to a few blades outside, then what do you do with the two wires from the generator? How can it be used?
Can it power my computer? What circuitry does it take to charge a automobile battery with it? If possible, can it be integrated into my home power grid?
