What would a 60 watt solar panel power? How many watts for a small home?
What would be helpful is some chart or diagram that would put this in perspective for me. I thought it would be neat to save up for solar panels for my home and take the load off my bill. Also, it would be nice to have something portable. But, when they state 60 watts can I run a tv and lights or just charge some batteries?

I am trying to come up with a term project for a class I am in, and my current idea involves lighting miniature LED bulbs (we’re speaking tiny, here) with a homemade “solar” panel (I would probably in actuality use a bright light instead of the sun). for example Amarillo, TX gets a whole bunch of wind and I was wondering how efficient wind turbines are and if they would be able to absolutely power a home using 1,200 kw/h monthly. But I want a monthly kw/h rate for the main answer.
