what save more electricity? Solar panels over half my roof, or trees covering half my roof?
I was wondering which would save more money in the electricity arena (I know tree’s can damage roofs).
I had heard that the shade provided by trees covering your home can help to greatly reduce summer electric bills.
I had read that Solar panels need to go onto the south side of the house, and that is where the tree’s shade the house. So which is more cost effective?
Also I know many of the benefit’s tree’s can provide, as well as the negatives associated with massive tree’s near houses.

What about imbedding a small solar panel on the roof of a car & running on both solar and gasoline?
On sunny days, you could run off the solar panel, and on cloudy days the gasoline would kick in. How many batteries would it take, and would it be feasible?

I also have a garage roof peaked, to me wasted space south facing. How much to have someone come and install a system, that perhaps pays for itself in 5 years ? Single guy a lot of personal , one small ac at night,fridge normal stuff

Well, I am looking for a cheap way on building a solar panel, instead of buying by the manufacturing stores. I would like to stay in the budget up to 1,000 dollars. I want to have Solar Energy for my home because the sun is always shining. Is there a way I can make the Light power some of my house? What would I need? How much time would it take?
Where can I get the items I need?
