We want to save energy and cost for our office, and someone recommends that we must turn off our personal during break times, which is 15 minutes to 60 minutes only. Is there any study about this?

Thanks guys. Is there any site about saving tips like that? So that I can present more solid facts to my colleagues.

Answer by DsnyMom
my gosh just leave them on. You will loose productivity time by having to wait for your personal to boot up each time. I know our personal at work take 5-7 minutes to boot up and fully load. Thats a lot of lost work time when you add it up. Its just like a car, it uses more gas to turn your automobile off and restart it then to just leave it running in park.
