I KNOW THAT SOME PEOPLE KILL WRIST WATCHES BECAUSE OF THE ELECTRICITY IN THEIR BODY,BUT HOW ABOUT WIND-UP ONES?
Dec 20th
Question by .:
I know that some people kill wrist watches because of the electricity in their body, but how about wind-up ones?
Will they kill the wind up wristwatches as well?
That doesn’t make sense to me, yet I know at least two people who claim that they cannot even wear the wind-up ones without killing them with their magnetic field or their over-electrified bodies.
jose, my Mom cannot wear a watch without it dying on her. It is not due to abuse, misuse, bad batteries, or exposure to water, excess heat, excess cold.
You’re full of it.

Q&A: SOLAR PANEL COST AND HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT ONES?
Aug 30th
Question by aplpie:
Solar Panel cost and how to pick the right ones?
I am planning on putting solar panels on the roof of my home since i live in phoenix, AZ. We get a lot of sun and it only seems sensible to purchase solar panels. A lot of poeple state that it costs like 15-20k to install them.
I was wondering if someone knew if thats true, and how much would it cost and which ones should i install. I am very confused and it seems with the investment i will have to put in it, i should learn more about it.
Thanks to everyone.

WHY DOESN’T THE GOVERNMENT BAN STANDARD LIGHT BULBS AND FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY ENERGY SAVING ONES?
Aug 13th
Question by ©:
Why doesn’t the government ban standard light bulbs and force people to purchase energy saving ones?
I’m reffering to any government, US, UK, whichever you want to comment on.
If the entire UK switched to energy saving bulbs it would save 20% of total energy consumption and remove the need to build new nuclear power stations. Why do not they just make energy wasting bulbs illegal?
I dopn’t think just saying we live in a free world explains it, after all, leaded petrol is banned (is here anyway), as well as many other environmental protection laws.
