DOES IT SAVE MORE ON MY ELECTRICITY BILL TO TURN MY HEAT ALL THE WAY OFF DURING THE DAY OR JUST DOWN?
Oct 4th
Question by Cyndi C:
Does it save more on my electricity bill to turn my heat all the way off during the day or just down?
I have electric baseboard heating, and my roommate likes to turn the heat all the way off during the day and at night, but I was always told that you save more if you leave the thermostat at a constant level during the day, or maybe a few degrees lower than you like it, so that when you come home it doesn’t use as much energy to bring the room back up to a liveable temp. Does anyone know if this is true?

Feb 22nd
Question by evhaemoglobin:
I just dropped a energy saving lightblub!! Did I breathe in the poisonous gases now?? What do I do?
I just dropped one of those energy saving flourescent lightbulbs. (with the long, bent tubes) I once heard that these have to be taken care of specially when they do not work any more, because you are not granted to break them because then they release poisonous gases! But I just dropped one! So did I release poisonous gases, and did I breathe them in? And what happens if I did?
And what do I do with the remains of the lightbulb??

Question by Lays304:
How would you build a Solar Panel that can convert Sunlight to Energy, just being on your home roof?
Well, I am looking for a cheap way on building a solar panel, instead of buying by the manufacturing stores. I would like to stay in the budget up to 1,000 dollars. I want to have Solar Energy for my home because the sun is always shining. Is there a way I can make the Light power some of my house? What would I need? How much time would it take?
Where can I get the items I need?
