What’s a good way to insulate my apartment during the winter, so I can save on electricity?
I would like to keep my electric bill down this winter, but my apartment is very drafty, and the walls are thin, and the doors and windows arent well insulated. What can I do myself to insulate my apartment without spending a lot of money.

My ceilings have been lowered so there is an empty space between the 1st and 2nd floor. should I blow insulation between the floors? My bills seem to be very high for the 1600 square feet that I occupy downstairs. I have even put in a new unit downstairs. Even though if I set my thermostat to 68 degrees and the temperature stays 68 degrees in the house, my unit is constantly on.
