Fluorescent tube lighting vs energy saving bulbs?
I want to put some Fluorescent tube lights in my garage and currently i have energy saving bulbs in the garage. Will it be cheaper to run Fluorescent tube lights or energy saving bulbs? i believe the energy saving bulbs are rated at 20w per bulb. I have yet to purchase tube lights.
Probably gonna go for a 4 foot tube so thats 40 watts? Wouldnt it be cheaper to run the 20 wattt energy savings bulb or is there some confusing science to this

I just recently learned that the new energy saving light bulbs need to be handled with care and disposed of properly. It seems these bulbs contain mercury. I know that the Ikea stores will take them but would like to know if there are other sites.
