Does Anyone Here Has The E-book “Poor Man’s Guide To Wind Power And Battery Systems” And actually build one of the Generators? Do They Work? And was it in the calculated price range?
Thanks for the answers but peoples, please, I know where to get plans. But: Have you actually build one? Was it within the price and did it work as described? I asked for the Poor Man’s guide because that is what I am and for whom the generators eventually are: Poor fisherman who sometimes can’t afford to charge the batteries in their homes. I need to know because I earn just 225$ a month and can’t afford a pricey failure.

CAN YOU USE A CAR BATTERY FOR IN A SOLAR PANEL SYSTEM OR DO YOU NEED A DEEP CYCLE BATTERY?

Hi all, I am wondering if you need a deep cycle battery when charging (and using) in a solar panel system. I only am using no more than 20 watts at 12 volts. My plan is to take the solar panel, connect the cords to a charge controller which will light a couple of lights, then attach the battery to the charge controller and power the lights during the night.
So would a regular 12 V automobile battery work for holding this charge or would it not work?

I am using the battery and solar panel on a deer feeder. The solar panel just maintains the charge. I did not know if the battery would deplete faster than the smaller volt solar panel could supply a charge.

I wanna get a solar panel to charge 1 or 2 automobile batteries. Then connect the battery to a 800watt power inverter so that I can power a tv. Will the 18watt solar panel charge my batteries and around in how long?
I just wanna use the panel to charge the batteries, no to use the panel directly with my electronics. Thanks for your answer and help me with that.
