How come white people always want to save energy?
i mean some of them state that they dont turn on heat or A/C because it saves energy who gives a damn about saving energy anyway, the earth will never run out of energy, as long as we are paying the gas and electric bill each month, we will always have the energy we need.

Why is the pressure on UK to save energy when America have always been the gas guzzling nation?
I just feel as though America (or the rest of the world for that matter) aren’t doing enough, and yet here in the UK we hear no end of save energy bla bla bla.. and now theres an advert telling me to drive 5 miles less a week!!!! Sounds sensible but that would leave me 5 miles short of getting home on a Friday afternoon!!!

With Central AC, does it save more electricity to leave them on always or set to auto?
I have a central A/C unit in a two story house.
We usually set the temperature to 80F and set the fan to “Auto” which basically turn on the fan and the cooling when temperature goes above the set temperature.
There’s also “On” setting for the fan which will keep the fan running always and I assume the cooling too maybe?(or maybe the cooling is turned on when temperature goes above the set temperature).
Which will save more electricity? Setting the fan setting to “auto” or “on”?
