Im charging a Rechargeable AA battery using a 2.4W Solar panel. The batteries are connected through a USB port. They are exposed to 6 hours of sunlight, They seem charged after, However the batteries do not retain the charge and get very swiftly drained. my question is why is the battery getting drained after showing 87% of charge.

I am considering going to college at TSTC in sweetwater tx. They offer certificates in wind turbine technology and they offer Assosiates in Applied Science degrees (completed in 18 months) I was wondering what would be the advantage of getting the AAS over the certificates. Thank you.

Is it more energy saving to turn your hot tub down a few degrees after use?
I use my hot tub at 102, but I turn it down to like 98 after use. I use it once or twice a week, and just go out 15 min. before use and turn it up. I wonder if the energy usage is less to heat it up a couple times a week, rather than the energy to maintain it the whole week?
BTW- It is a newer hot tub so I think it’s pretty insulated.

Im fresh out of high school and am not sure what education i should be seeking next. I have heard that renewable energy is a fast growing field and would like to know what education a good job in that field would require. I do not want to waist electricity however I want to also be sure that in my apartment which gets very hot during the day (at least 95 degrees) is not to hot for my cats. I work double shifts and am often away for more then 16 hours at a time.
