ENERGY SAVING HALOGEN LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENTS?

I want to replace my 50W halogen bulbs (I have 9) with energy saving (possibly LED) ones. I have heard that the ones available are not very bright or produce a very cold blueish light (5000K or more). Does anyone know of any good ones that do not have these problems? Links please.
