We have recently installed some new light fixtures and did not realize that energy saving light bulbs will not dim, they will only work on maximum power, when the dimmer switch is turned down, they just flicker.

Q&A: I WANT TO SAVE MONEY ON MY ELECTRICITY BILL BY SWITCHING THE SETTINGS?
May 12th
Question by Michelle:
I want to save money on my electricity bill by switching the settings?
I work at home, and have purchased a small air conditioning unit for my office.
I have it on at least 12 hours a day, and I was wondering what setting would make it cheaper.
It has low cool, med cool, and high cool. and then numbers 1-10.
I figured low cool would be cheapest, so I put it on that but it made the room way cooler than it did on high cool.
Kind of a weird question, but I’d really like to know.
Thank you.
