i checked on this just recently with my electric company a coop. they gave me info and it was going to cost a ton not at all worth it for me anyhow. check with your electric company they will have info to pass out with distrubutiors and so on

i dont know how much it would but i am sure that the electric companys number would be inflated a bit. have you thought about solar power, 45watts panels are around $200.00. sometimes you can get the on sale for $180.00 at harbor freight.
