ACTUALLY YOU WANT YOUR LOCAL UTILTY COMPANY INVOLVED. THE HAVE TO BUY ALL THE EXTRA ENERGY THAT YOUR SOLAR AND WINDMILL PRODUCE.

Spend a whole lot more money than you would spend on utilities. This is just not practical with today’s technology, unless you live a couple hundred miles from the grid. It requires huge banks of batteries that have to be replaced periodically.

Petasucks101 makes a valid point. The utility companies will buy all the extra energy you put back into the grid. However, to directly answer your question check out Solar Solutions at diynetwork.com.
