Im using a windmill I built myself, it was pretty easy all in all too. I even sell back the excess energy to the power company every month for some cash. The guide I followed is from http://www.ebooksreviewed.info/earth4energy

Have you considered draping your ceiling? If you drape from your AC Vent in droopy loops of fabric that bring the level of the ceiling down essentially, it helps keep hot air up and let cool air down. The fabric helps direct the cool air down to the bed.

interesting responses, i’m a bit skeptical about website that says can get off grid for $200, looks like a skam and dang the other response is not answering the question.
for a real windmill you would need to construct a tower and blades which would cost about the same as a shed: $2000 to $5000. A generator powered by the wind, an inverter to step the power to what appliances needed and installation which could double or triple costs. this is for a relatively small system that could help but not cover full electrical needs.
alternatively you could buy complete package for about $10K as seen in site below
if you have a farm this may be OK but in town the codes probabaly would not permit
