IF I HANG MY CLOTHES OUT ON THE LINE TO SAVE ENERGY HOW CAN I KEEP THEM SOFT?
normally air dryer clothes get very stiff but i know i’ll save about $50 a month on my power bill by using a clothes line. do you think fabrice softner in the wash will do the trick?

fabric softner and shaking the clothes really good before hanging,and using hangers where needed

I take mine off the line when they are not quite dry and put them in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet to fluff them up.

here is an article for homemade liquid fabric softner. I have been using this for a couple years. I get the conditioner on sale for less than .50cents so it is super cheap and works GREAT!
