How are you supposed to dispose of energy saving light bulbs legally?
i have two energy saving light bulbs that do not work and do not know what to do with them

Technically, in most communities, you take them to a perilous waste dump.

I just dump them in a bin with old, dead batteries and take them to the haz mat dump once or twice a year.
