How to build a home wind turbine to replicate a commercial one?
I am doing a school project and need to build a wind turbine with the same dimensions as a commercial one. Any help would be appreciated along with some references.

does your school have any idea how LARGE commercial wind turbines are? They are larger than a house!
Still, I want to know too — just on a smaller scale. Good luck with your project 
Edit: Okay, so I have been watching this one for a tiny while — it interests me too — but it doesn’t look like people are going to answer your question — so, I recommend going to the library and checking out a book on “wind turbines” or “renewable energy”

For building the wind turbine, u have to design the blades and then u have to analyze the blade profiles using CFD softwares.If u search in the website by the topic, engine manufacturing company and in that company u get some information.

You will never be able to replicate a commercial one. They are huge. You need several acres of space, very large cranes, and many millions of dollars. They stand about 120 meters high, about 40 stories, or higher.
Look at the last page of the link below for a photo of a large crane raising the hub and blades.
AND, you need permission of your zoning board, and other authorities before you can install a wind turbine of ANY size.

The most important thing is to have LOTS and LOTS of money.
If you are a billionaire, that would be a good start.
