I want to make a wing generator for my house.i have an alternator.i do not know where to begin.?
I would like to hook the wind genterator to my house.i need to know what type of cable to purchase and where to put the cable.

If the alternator you have is one from a vehicle, you will be lucky to power one light bulb with it. The power likely will be dc, and your home is ac., so that is a prob. If you had the right alternator and the right cable, you’d hook it into the main, but that is a job for a licensed electrical contractor.

It’s more than a cable. It’s a lot more. You need the wind (not wing) turbine, a generator, and circuitry to connect it your house power. A battery, with it’s charger and inverter may be required.
You also need permission from your power company. Talk to them, they can tell you what you can and cannot do.
